Is that what the "r" stands for? I never knew that. I'll bet he put it there because that's how most tire sizes are written today.

I was told on pirate4x4 that the R stands for radius not radial but I always thought it was radial.

I thought radius too, but then I realized that would mean an r15 would be a 30" wheel.
