39.5-18-16.5 Super Swamper Boggers, are better than my half worn out TSL's?

My almost bald TSLs gripped damn good on rocks. A ton better than a rig with boggers that i was wheeling with back in the day.

Boggers severely lack lateral traction on rocks as well.

If you cut the crap out of them they will work fairly well, but will chunk like mad.

wondered about that Chris...seems the bigger the contact patch the better!

gotta admit them boggers are badass though.

not what I was hoping to hear Eric....

Yea, they dont steer, brake, and I didnt like them on the limited rocks I have been around, but they do one thing exceptionally well. Kick A$$ in a straight line provided you have the HP to turn them and clean them out.

Boggers work on the rocks if you groove and sipe them , like was said above they dont have any lateral traction , but when you grove them hat improves alot plus they are super soft so that helps.

I like Boggers in the back and TSL's in the front

They work alright in some types of rocks, but in Moab they suck. Our lava rock that actually work alright but if you drive aggressively it rips the lugs off.

Dave, Gus is right though if you take a groover to them you can make them better. I have grooved boggers before and we cut a 4 diagonal grooves in each lug, used 2 different sized blades. Large one for the big lugs and the smaller one for the 2 smaller lugs.

I dont' have a groover, and ripping the lugs off don't sound like a place I want to go....I'll just keep an eye peeled for more options.

They would be kickass in sand and mud, but I haven't had any problem in sand, and I don't like mud.

uh...well I uh....sorry Gus, no disrespect, but M R nice! you lucky dog!
