ill looking for a new set of tires pretty soon, i like the new km2s but they are expensive , but boggers u just cant go wrong , its going to be driving about 100 to 200 miles a week and want a tire that will last , bfgs will last longer and ive heard there pretty dam* good in the mud to , but boggers just kick arse, ill be running 38's no matter wat i just like to hear some input from u guys

I just got some 38 bogger's. Everthing I have read is that they wear fast. just keep them balanced and rotate them should get pretty good life out of them.

like i tell everyone if your worried more about being on the street more than on the trail dont buy boggers...

+1

Boggers will last maybe 12k~15k miles on the street under the best of conditions. If tread life is a factor at all go with the BFG's.

Does BFG even make a 38" tire? The KM2's may offer a new size but when I bought my last set of KM's 35's were it.

What kind of wheeling?

For a good all around tire you can't hardly go wrong with TSL's or TSL/SX's. They won't last as long as BFG's but for the price of the BFG's you could almost buy 2 sets of TSL's or Boggers.

There aren't many tires worth $450/ea, and I don't think the BFG MT's are one of them. The only tires worth that money are dedicated rockcrawling tires like Maxxis Trepadors & Creepy Crawlers, & BFG Krawlers. Those tires aren't ment for road use though even the ones that are not the sticky compound will wear similar to TSL's or Boggers.

your comparing apples and oranges I think. If your going to drive the vehicle much on the street then I think those new BFG's would be way better. Like previously stated, the life span of boggers is going to be less than 20K. I havent seen any reports yet, but I think the expected life out of the new BFG's is going to be over 35K. The BFG will ride better and be 20x quieter on the road compared to the boggers. I would love to have the new BFG's but for that kind of money I dont think its going to happen.

ok I found boggers for around 270 thinking 20,000 miles. and the bf say around 35,000. you can almost get 2 set's of boggers for the price of them and have more life out of the 2 set's

Most guys I know running boggers on full size trucks get more like 15k out of them and they are BALD when they take them off

OK the reviews i did find on them say pretty much the same.i drive my truck on the road a lot but probl around 1000 a month so to get that much put me at replacing them a little over once a year i can deal with that.

If you drive your truck on the street that much get a set of like 35" street tires for cheap on cheap or stock wheels and get a set of whatever you want to mud/wheel with. Cheaper in the long run I would think.

This is what I'm working at doing, I have 38'' Boggers on Beadlocks and I swear you can see them wear doing driving a 10 mile trip to the store. I'm looking at buying a set of the new BFG T/A KM2 in the 37'' size on 17'' black steel rims. A good price to size ratio. I have another daily driver plus my tow rig so the BlaZer is a toy, but am looking at the BFG's for summer driving and trail riding when I don't tow it. The Boggers will be when I tow to a wheeling spot and for when we'll be muddin:laugh:

KM2s are going to ride way better on the road since they are a radial tire.....and will actually be ROUND, unlike Interco egg-tires.

Boggers will let everyone know you're hardcore, especially when you burn through them on a street-driven truck. The payoff will be the deafening highway roar, poor handling and increased fuel consumption...

The KM2 is a true-dual purpose tire that will ride well, last well and work well offroad.... yes, that costs money for BFG to create and they'll pass those costs on to you.

All things considered, I'd love to try a set of the KM2's....it seems like a tire with very few compromises (once you get past the acquisition costs)

my thoughts exactly. I am hoping that eventually the prices will come down to where the average Joe could possibly buy a set, but its not very likely I imagine.

for the sucking fuel i aint 2 worrie cause ill prb get 6-8 with the motor i got in it , but i c every body is leanning to the km2 beside the price over them , but it looks like the km2 for me

Why limit yourself to the KM2s or Boggers? There are PLENTY of other tires out there that are equivelant or better than those for 1/2 the price.

I think I'm going to have to plug my Mickey Thompson MTZs again. They are just as smooth as my BFG A/Ts were on the road and they do way better off road. Plus they should outlast 2 sets of boggers.
