Just wondering if there are any bolt in electric fan units available for the 73-91 series?

i've seen the ones from Be Cool and that's a little too expensive for me since i'll only need the fan in traffic.

Any others?

The cavalier fan from the salvage yard doesn't work, so i'm looking for something new.

Probably the most common swap you are going to hear is the wind star fans.

I would love for someone to make a bolt in kit or at least a shroud but I haven't had any luck finding one.

Windstar fan is a proven swap in these trucks. It flows more than enough, it fits very well, and it's cheap. If you are ok with spending $670+ for something you can probably get for $25 in the wrecking yard, I'd certainly go with what you linked. It's supposed to fit, that is going to save a ton of time, and flows enough, if they aren't lying.

As I see it, your options are: get a Windstar, shell out the bucks for the permacool, spend more time and effort than its worth to make something else fit, or get a piece of junk that won't flow good.

I would prefer a dual fan setup, have it temp controlled and when the a/c comes on.

Tejas Steelworks makes a shroud. That is where I bought mine from. They only have a page on Facebook no web site. It is designed to use the fans from a 1993-1997 LT1 or v6 camaro and firebird. Unbolt the fans from their shround onto the one from Tejas Steelworks. He predrills the holes on the shroud.

Yes it a 2012 Ford edge duel fan it fits between the tanks. You will need to take the controller off and wire in relays. Part # 8553223 at napa

Windstars basically bolt in, they flow more air then you need. Mike aka Thumper runs a set on his 555 ci and they do fine. They do great on my 454 before and after I did all the work to Twinkie.

You can get them cheaper on rock auto.
Also i have the part numbers for the wire plugs that give you some jumper leads to splice to in my build thread.
