Just wondering if there's any difference between the different bolt in steering braces. I know of at least four different places to get them, any better or worse than the others?

I'm partial to ORD as I've bought stuff from them and gotten good advice from Steve before but just making sure.

Are you talkin' braces, or weld-in repair kits? I have an ORD brace that I am pretty happy with, installation was relatively straightforward, and I had to do very little modding of my crossmember to get it to fit.

IIRC Autofab and ORD both get their box braces from the same guy. He doesn't want to deal with the public, so he wholesales them to off road shops. Maybe the other companies buy from the same guy.

I've bought ORD's and it is top notch.

Are those the only brands that make the kit? What does IIRC Stand for?

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly

Okay, so AutoFab and ORD use the same kit. I actually have dealt with both places but ORD gets the nod there. It'll probably be ORD then. Thanks guys.

There's also Rough Country...and I think Superlift or someone else makes one.

You are talking about the weld-in, correct?

ORD is the only one with a bolt-in...

Autofab and ORD sell the exact same kit.
