thanks obijuan....i did a search and found Glasstite, but no links to that conversion. must have been made a long while ago. i don't remember that kit when i was last building trucks either......there wasn't any interweb then also.

That is Cheap I have a nice one that was about $1k when it was new and I am going to sell mine for about 3x what that guy is asking. That is a deal.

found this old pic in my photobucket, cant remember the members name right now.
i wanted one really really bad, and its been covered a few times here before.

thats cool. no harm ment.

i am just use to my long bed stuff or crew cabs. kind of hard to tell those shortbeds or trazers. :thumb:

Your still doing a good thing! Its just funny that me, the OP, and the owner are all here on this sight and have seen that part in person.

I have never seen one before and am potentially interested.

Couple qs:

How much does it weigh?
Does it extend to the floor?
How well does it seal?
What is the depth of it from mounting surface to bolt head surface? I ask as i would have to fit it between smittybilt bar.

weighs about 60 lbs with all the pieces
yes it does extend to the floor for the 78 and newer body
it seals "ok" at best. it really depends on how much effort you put into it.
3 1/4"
