I know over the last few years some have asked how they hold up and if there realy good or not .

so today when I got my wheel off the rear of my truck I took a few pics to show they work just fine.

ebay specials close to 7-8 years ago .

red Loctite and 10 ft-lbs over spec on spacer lug nuts to axle . so that if any were to come loose it should be wheel to spacer first .

as you can see lots of rust on my rust belt crap . aluminum spacers little chunky on edges but no major loss of structure . and faces for wheel to seat just fine .

and fyi this truck is dd @ times / play / loads of scrap or stone / 8ft or 9ft snow plow as needed also . so this is real world work use report .

14ff c&c narrow axle with 3" spacers per side to make it srw reg width axle in the back .

hope this helps others who search and find this in there quest for answers to some questions. :thumb:

Glad to hear they're holding up. I use 1.5 inch spacers and the only ill effects seem to be some minor corrosion where the aluminum comes into contact with steel.

Anti seize.

Infact while watching PowerBlock,,they are starting to use it a lil more on the mating surfaces.. when they were puting a brake hub against the spindle.

I use it on the surface part of my rear drum brakes to keep wheel from welding itself to it.

My 2" spacers were fine for 6 months. Only problem ever was my failure to use Loctite and to recheck them often enough. After I fix the damage I'm using Loctite and double nutting the spacers onto the hub. They will not break studs off again.
