Anyone know what size bolts are used for the inspection cover on a 700r4? Cant seem to find them and want to get stuff put back together.

Anyone know what size the 3 bolts are the hold down the throttle body for tbi?

Thanks

Cover bolts= 3/8-16
The two bolts for the engine braces= 7/16-14
Both are 1.5 to 1.75 inches in length I think but don't quote me on that part.
Lowes carries them.

Those bolts are 10mm x 1.5 IIRC. I just had those bolts in my hands about 20 minutes ago.

TBI bolts are 5/16-18 but not sure on the length at the moment. I can verify all bolt sizes in about 1.5 hours when i get home from work.

Thanks Scott! Your always a big help to me! I think 2 3/4" or 3" bolts will work

Ok, i just confirmed that the inspection cover bolts are 10mm x 1.5 and they are 30mm long (1 3/16"). The strut rod bolts are the same as well.

The TBI mounting bolts are 5/16"-18 x 2 1/4" long.

Thanks a bunch! I got the right tbi bolts but I will have to get the ones for the inspection cover tomorrow. I think I am going to work on compiling bolt sizes for different areas ie engine, suspension, steering. There are a lot of variables to work with though so that could take some serious effort.

Thanks again for your guys help!

M10x1.5? I guess somebody did a damn good job of rethreading mine.

3/8" x 16 is damn close to 10mm x 1.5 so somebody probably just put the wrong bolts in yours. Many people screw up and install 3/8" x 16 bolts into the case to adapter location also.

FWIW every threaded hole on a 700R4 is metric.
