Does anyone know what size of bolt I need for my springs. They are Skyjacker leafs for a 74 K5. I am having someone install them and he will have to cut the old off. I want to have the new ones ready.

The sexy ones are greasable (best with poly bushings so you never have to cut them off again), like

You can also get poly bushings with the bolts -- you might call ORD and have them send you the whole setup.

If you're sourcing locally, note that Kert says his are 5" long. In terms of diameter...

The front springs use 9/16" at the forward end and then two sets of 1/2" on the shackle. EDIT: Maybe... mine isn't exactly stock, so the 1/2" may be for aftermarket springs/shackles.

The rear springs should be 9/16" all the way around, depending on what you've got in terms of shackle, flip, or other modification.

My shackles use 7/16" at the frame bushings and the leaf spring bushing. Energy suspension poly bushings and tuff country springs. My old superlift springs used a 9/16" like the front hanger did though so every setup might vary.

Front springs,

9/16" at the front
7/16" at the shackle end up till somewhere in the mid 80's. Then it went to 1/2".

Rear springs 9/16" throughout.

I looked at your greasable bolts. What is the benefit of that at the spring?
