bolt sizes please

looking for bolt sizes for 83 small block to th350, flex plate to crank, flex plate to conveter, and trans to motor.

Go to the store and get, "flex plate bolts" and "torque converter bolts"

IIRC 7/16-20 into the crank and 3/8-24 and nuts on my TH 400.

thanks tim, as for going to the store. i have no need to, i have nuts and bolts laying around every where. i just need to know the right sizes when im looking for them. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Aren't the flexplate bolts different than regular bolts?

yes. They have shorter heads.

And of course they're fine thread.

What's sitting around your house will NOT work correctly.

Don't skimp on these, these bolts are very important.

Im going to need flexplate bolts, can I just go to the parts store and get them? What store are you talking about?

Yep, just an auto parts store. Some places have them packaged on a card, sometimes around the chrome dress up stuff, otherwise just ask the guy (or girl to be 100% PC/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif) behind the counter.

I think I have some flexplate bolts.. at least a set or two anyway =)
