i need to know what size the stock exaust manifold bolts are on a 77' 350 chevy truck exaust manifold, i was in a hurry last night and forgot to get the lengths of the bolts i need, tho old ones are bad, i also need to know the length of the water pump bolts, Thanks alot!

dealer only..

Most older GM trucks used 3/8x16 - 2-1/4" bolts on the exhaust manifolds--you probably wont find anything but 2" or 2-1/2" bolts in a hardware store--you'll need lots of washers if you use 2-1/2" ones, and they wont stay tight--its best to use original GM bolts if your dealer has some in stock--not that expensive..the water pump bolts are 3/8 course thread too,but I'm not sure how long they are--and no every tuck uses the same length, due to having A/C or not,etc..a wild guess!..the same might apply to the manifold bolts, depending on if it had an air pump bracket, power steering,etc..
