I have a 1987 GMC Jimmy and we took the top/shell off for the summer. Now that its starting to get a little colder and damper (I live in Southern California ) I want to put the top back on. However, I lost the bolts that attach the top portion to the top of the cab. I do have the bolts for the two sides; I am missing those four bolts that will fully attach it.

Does anyone have any clue what the thread and size of these bolts is? Or, any ideas where I can buy these bolts? I already spoke with LMC Truck and they do not carry this item.

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

the threads r the same as the side ones, just longer so if u dont care about it matching then just go to the local hardware store and pick up some longer bolts with that thread...sorry i dont no the length. i bought all new bolts for mine. just be sure to use washers.

Thanks so much! I will try the hardware store route and if that doesn't work I will visit my local GMC dealer and pay 10x for the same bolts. :D

I just got my truck repainted, and I think someone must have stolen my tool box out of the back. Lesson learned: take everything out of the truck when you take it to have work done!
