are ther any "ultimate" blazer build up books i can purchase? or any other 4x4 books tat are worth reading

Books, you don't need no stinkin' books! You've got the best K5 resource right in front of you. Ask away and you'll learn everything you need to know and then some!

It's not what you buy, it's what you build!

I found the book Chevy & GMC performance handbook by Jim Allen to be pretty interesting. I picked it up at borders for 20 bucks. I liked it because its all GM no other makes are discussed. It also mentions coloradok5.com so it can't be that bad. Craig

a couple of good books that you WILL need, chilton/haynes, maybe an assembly manual, a service manual and maybe a couple books about some of the components of your truck, (rochester handbook/ or EFI book).....etc. they have always been helpfull and have saved money.

Just got the "Chevy Truck Owners Bible" by Moses Ludel.......dude that started the "Bible" series with Jeeps. Good information about our trucks in general, not necessarily for "ultimate" buildups, but good for fixing and understanding our babies.........

I've never read any of Ludel's books, but I've seen lots of "advice" in his tech columns of 4WD mags that was just plain wrong. He may know Jeeps, but he didn't know diddly about GM's the last time I saw any of his work.

Any kind of part or add-on for your truck has been used by, i would say, at least a dozen people on this site. All you have to do is ask and you can get more replies than you can read in a day. Pretty nifty if you ask me.
