Need recommendations for a shop to have a engine Built, but at a reasonable price? In the Grand Junction area perferably. Threw rodS threw my oil pan!

Looking for something bullet-proof. Its an 84 K5, so just about any GM 350+ will work.

I'm new to the area and work too much to look around. Could use a heading.

Thanks guys.

I have had ASF Machine and Dyno build some stuff for me. Absolutely great when it comes to quality and precision. He is over behind B & H Sports, little shop on the left. They have a nice chassis dyno also. Highly recommended.

Saw it earlier today in the JEGS catalogue. $1595.00 long block w/ guarantee. shipping is only $250.00 I don't think you'll be able to have one built for less than that. Plus JEGS will take care of you.

I was leaning towards Jegs/Summit. After finding out ORD is just up the road from me now. I thought I'd ask around. Maybe find something local with the same garantee.

sweetk30...sorry about your rig.

Boondock5...Thanks and bad ass pic. Where did you get it?

Silver84k5...Thank you. Just needed to hear it from you guys I guess.

Didn't mean to leave you outta that last message. Thanks a bunch. I'll go check them out for sure.

Whats your rig look like?

Its the infamous Okra color with 35's, black wheels, black top. It is currently under construction. I haven't had it out of Montrose in quite a while, although back in the day I pulled my camaro to the drag strip with it. As soon as I can post a picture, I post one in current condition.

There is a hell of a good looking deal at Year One too. A 400hp 350ci for $2989. Everything but a carb it looks like. I have been wanting someone to try one of these...

Idea's

OK. So I found an engine, but since its coming with a warranty, I'd like to find a shop that will do the same for the install. Any suggestions for the Grand Junction, CO area?

almost all shops do not give warrenty on cust supplyed parts.

and lots of places only give warrenty on the part not the labor.

Engine

Figured as much. Back home I know a shop or two that would insure the install. Was looking to save some time around here. Looks like I'm gonna have to do more than type at this point...
