thanx sled dog that my whole point, I know wipple makes a bolt on kit that you just bolt it on plug in a chip of sorts and go. I belive they make 8 lbs or 12 lbs depending on what pully you put on the blower drive. Why not just go that route? well one its spendy, and 2 blowers arnt free power like a turbo is they reqire power to make power. And 3 it still dont sound as cool as saying i have a twin turbo 350 lol.
As an update, I have a friend that claims he can get me diesel turbos At cost. But he has to look to see if he can get gas trubos at cost and get back to me. I dont know what the differnce is but he said hes sure they are differnt.
Not taking in to account the cam, I can rebuild the engine with 8.75:1 blower /turbo pistons for about $640 IF I dont have to have much machine work done. Id like to stay stock bore and just have the head surfaces cleaned up. I am going to use an 010 4 bolt main block, with stock vortec heads.
