Boots or no boots.

I just received new Bilstien shocks from ORD including the Ford shock towers for the front end. Any thoughts on whether to install the shock boots or not? I have old Ranchero shocks with boots and the boots seem to capture moisture over time.

That’s why I didn’t. Just keep the shock clean, should be fine

monotubes are mounted shaft down. If you are concerned about rocks and gravel chewing up the chrome on the shafts you could enlarge the drain holes and run the boots...
