Bought a smoke machine today

I have been wanting one for years. Needing one even longer. Dad used to inhale his cigarette smoke and blow into vacuum lines to find leaks. I refuse to smoke.

Has not had one full tank of oil ran through it. Paid $300.

My neighbor came over and helped with the leaks in a vw van I am working on. He thought it was odd to be vaping into vacuum lines. But it worked.

I tried the propane torch "trick" on vacuum lines once. Didn't work for me, I bet the fan was blowing the gas away. Smoke seems like the way to go.

Brake clean works for me.

I was referring to vacuum lines in Scorpios post.

Exhaust leaks I just use my ears.

This does any piping. I will also use it to test the gas lines on the food trucks. I can't always spray the joints that are covered. With this, I can get close to seeing where the leak is.
