A buddy of mine just called and offered me his project for $400! It's a 75 blazer full top with no motor, tranny, xfercase or rearend but has the full top and a title(and alot or rust). Included in the deal is also a 85 1/2 ton lwb w/o title but with straight rust free body, power windows and power door locks. Looks like the 78 will end up being a full top!

no, it has an 85 front clip.

I saw a '78 in the paper for $400 complete and drivable. I think you'll have to sink a ton into bringing it back. You do have the option to put it all the stuff you like and have it custom to you. Most of the fun is bringing something back from the dead.
