If it's really rust free $5300 isn't the end of the world. If you've ever had to repair the kind of rust these rigs are known for you'd feel a lot better about the price.
The seller said the electric passenger window quit working on the drive to meet me. It's stuck in the down position. I tried switching to the center switch, which works, but it didn't fix the window. I will be tearing apart the passenger door this weekend.
Took apart the door and found the issue. The PO had wired in a mid-90's power window switch inline with the window motor wires. One of the wires had fallen out of the switch, but it looked like it had never really worked to me. Cut the switch out and soldered the wires direct. Bundled and tied the wires up and it works fine now.
Also, my neighbor put a angle finder on the tc and rear diff. They were out of parallel by 5.2 degrees. So, our plan is to order 4 degree shims from summit. (again, truck has the 4" shackle flip on it) Any thoughts?
