I have not seen a crew cab pics thread in a while. There must be some new ones here, some updated projects etc. Show me your CCs. I would even like to see some 2x4 Crew Cabs if they are cool.

Here is mine in it's current state. Being built into a trail clean up rig.

i have a 88 crew cab project planed for late summer early fall. 8" bds front ord hd shackles. ord steering box brace kit. ord crossover high steer kit. then 4" 56" rear bds with 4" ord flip kit and hd shackles of some kind not in stock yet. 5.13 gears with brand new gov lock and power lock for front. 4l80-e swap in and divorced 205 from ih truck. 3" body lift with newer body parts and panels. then to top it off new 40x17x16.5 ground hawgs on bart chrome trucker rims 16.5x12. she will be a big crew cab for my area.

Got an 89 project going on now, kinda snowballed a little bit. Will try to figure out how to post pics when I get home next week. Here is a little bit of what I have done so far.

-4" front springs w/ ORD zero rate, greasable bolts/bushings, ORD HD shackles
-ORD crossover steering and 1.5" Tierod
-ORD steering brace
-B&M stack plate trans cooler and temp gauge
-K&N open element air cleaner
-ORD rear u bolt flip and 4" shackle flip w/zero rate new main leafs on both sides-originals were both snapped, greasable bolts/bushings, ORD HD shackles
-2 new LMC 20 gallon tanks and GM bracket /straps
-new rust free bed-to be painted and lined
-35"ss on 15x10 black Eatons
-inline tube SS hard brake lines and extended SS flex lines
-new rear bumper off an 83
-cleaned up and painted rear frame while bed is off
-Flowmaster series 44 muffler
-CB and antenna
-poly cab bushings

Got more to do this is what is done or waiting to be done for now, it all started because of a broken rear ubolt, leaking gas tank and some bed rust.

took the dually bed off today - planning to install a fleet side bed this week. 14 bolt srw. 4.10s and 60 up front. 91 cc. build to come...beamer silver paint 6 inches of lift, 37s, and my 4 year old has requested purple seats...we'll see

I have been thinking that some of these "Classic" crew cabs would be great for a new trend of doing "resto-mod" tow rigs.

Updating them with a bit more modern features, motors etc and keeping a little classic look.

Just put stock HMMWV wheels on it with the existing axles. No need to change to SRW front or rear and you have cheap double beadlocks .
