SOLD!
Bowtie Overdrives 700R4 Stage 3, K-case, 1800 HD Torque Converter. Trans is mated to a clocked slip yoke np241(GLO clocking ring). This set up is out of my 91 K5 blazer and has very few road miles. This vehilce was trail only and trailered everywhere and only drove to the gas station near my house. I have ran this setup for 3 years with about 4-5 trips per year. The only known issue that I have noticed is the selector shaft seal leaking when I pulled the trans last night. Not even dripping, just a little moist. Fluild was changed to Bowtie Overdrives specs by draining 3qts every service and replacing it. It got serviced about every 2 runs. May seem like overkill but it did alot of sitting with only doing 4-5 runs a year. As of right now the transfer is clocked completely flat but has 2 lower positions if it's to high for you. I will throw in a "T-case Saver" that I had on a parts np241, the cross member I built that allows for no drive shaft interference, the dust cover and the ring gear if needed. The fluid was ran through 2 coolers, one with an electric fan. There is a sending unit for a tranny temp gauge in the side of the pan. Cooling is a big issue that Bowtie stresses with these built 700R4's. Both cooling lines are still attached but coolers have been sold. Here's a link to Bowties site for further details.
