I have looked around and noticed a lot of info on upgrading brake booster from a k20 or 3500 non hydro setup

I found a setup that I’m curious about.

Installed a 14 bolt semi float with disc brakes from 4x4.

I see them in a 9” and 11 “ setup

Will this work for a 90 jimmy.

Thank you for any info.

Stupid money you do not need to spend . Lots of use have swappedxand usedxfactory stuff for a LOT less . . And if swapping i would only do hudro boost . . No vac boost for me .

All of the info that you say you found should have given you the needed insight to know that a 1" bore is no where close enough for 4 wheel disc brakes using those large calipers. I would go with what is a proven combo of a hydroboost and the correct factory application for a master cylinder.

Upon research mine is getting the 11" boost 1-1/8" bore master, disc calipers front and rear on my gay ass corporate 10 bolt axles (heavily modified with all Yukon internals) All Willwood...
