Brake Caliper Brackets, 14 Bolt.....$45 for CK5

Thank you all!

I don't have much time to get around the internet lately and these are part of the reason, we are now over 3300 pair in use!

Well over 4000 pair in use!

The first bent and the best bent!

Nothing against Kert but the tab welded on isn't necessary, no force from that direction. However I do appreciate his Ethics in trying to do something to improve the design. The internet is full of people that will not or cannot think for themselves when it comes to design. Kert has a sense of honor and dosen't fly that way and I applaud him for it.

Kind of interesting side note.......

I was reviewing some of my competitions disk brake "kits" and am continously amazed by the prices!

The main reason we started making these this way was to lower the cost of the conversion.......Now we are seeing the prices creep back up and it dosen't make any sense for someone that is willing to do the work. If you know enough about what you are doing you should know this entire change should cost you under $200 total, TOTAL! $50 for the brackets, $90-100 rotors and calipers, $50-60 for the odds and ends you may have to replace.........

Keep it in mind when someone tries to sell you on something as an all in one deal, its not really a deal......

In my continued quest for perfection......

Lots of people have pointed out to me that some of my competitors offer multiple mounting holes.......

We looked at that 3 years ago and determined it was a complete waste of time and money. The caliper can be mounted anywhere in a 40 degree range and the bleeder will still be on top. The 14 bolt axle has a symetrical 4 bolt pattern so if you want changes you can use the left on the right and the right on the left. We make these to fit the stock spring placement so you can remove the caliper pins without removing the leaf spring (Kind of a major thing) and if you use blocks it is entirely beneath the spring.

So, in summary, we have looked at the bracket from every angle and there is no match. We review all of our designs every 6 months to make sure we don't have a new idea to add or something to change.

That is why we sell so many of these, no other reason. Well maybe the price has a little to do with it:wink1: Spacers cost alot of money to make well and bends are cheap when you do more than a few at a time.

They never look seem to uncover the needs of the user, they just make something.....:o Don't anyone think this is aimed at DIY, Kert knows what he is doing but others hurt the work we try to do by just making something and not understanding it. It can get pretty frustrating:doah:

Still our #1 seller!

The number we have sold of these is approaching silly proportions. When I decided to do something to make what quite a few other companies were selling better I had no idea the 14 Bolt market was so big! I would have to estimate that there are at least 20,000 people using on in an offroad rig. Way more than I thought!

Just a reminder, the original bent bracket!

And still the best!

I will look around.....

I have kept a few sets for modeling purposes, they are handy when measuring offsets for new brackets.....

I just finished installing another set of your brackets. Everything went smooth with no issues as usual.
