We just sold the 400th pair of these!

In less than 6 months, we have had no complaints and many thanks.

I want to thank all the CK5 members for your orders....

im kinda new to this. i have a 58 apache on 86 k5 4x4 running gear. it has a 400 sbs th350 np208 and 10 bolts. i want to put a bds 4" susp lift. i just got a corp 14ff and am looking for a front. will i get a lift for an 86 k5 or will i get springs that go with the axles? i think i can just get the k5 lift, get new spring perches and shock mounts and just weld them in place is this right? which of your brackets will i need?

I guess the first question has to be.....

Is the running gear on the Apache frame or the K5 frame?

If it is the K5 frame you will most likely want the K5 lift with the correct perches. We have just made the correct perches! The ones with the 3 3/8"' axle cutout they have a 1/16" nub left in 3 places so they fit perfectly on 3.25" tubes, grind off the 1/16" nub and they fit 14 Bolt axle tubes!

We do not yet make a K5 specific lift but will soon, in the mean time I'vr got to say I really like the stuff comming from DIY4X, he makes a nice kit. We will try and improve on the kits available but it is in line and won't be available for a couple of months.

These will work on a Full Floater or a Semi Floater....

Same spacing......Remember to not make it harder than it is.....

Are you saying these will work with no mods on a SF? (other than the obvious) If so i'll be ordering a set in the next week or two.

They do.....

The only 14 bolts they won't work with are the DRW models.

Hey Dan,

did you ever get around to making a 14 bolt bracket application for an emergency brake style caliper?

I want to keep the e-brakes if possible.

We are still looking at the options.....

I hate to say it but the Nissan Maxima is the frontrunner, 4000lb car, would be fine for rear but it still needs work to fit up.......what other cars and trucks have integral ebrakes and weigh enough to be worthwhile? (If the vehicle dosen't weigh enough it won't be good for anything but an ebrake)

Another option I have been thinking about is a caliper that mounts with the bleeder on the other end and possibly mounting a second caliper and Master as an ebrake only, most states allow the ebrake to be hydraulic if it is a secondary system (if I am reading it right).

The ones he is selling would work with caddy calipers.

Yes they do work with the Caddy.....

Caliper, the problem is that very few can get the Caddy caliper to adjust correctly, and stay adjusted, not to mention the very high cost of them.

just ordered a pair for a 14 blt ff. can you give me a parts list of stuff i need to round up to complete the install. do i need the dually studs? any and all info is greatly apreciated.
