My blinkers and hazards stopped working today. I checked the fuse an the hazard/warning and Turn Signal fuses were burnt out. So I replaced the fuse an the Hazard/Brake lights and Turn Signal lights all started working again.

I also changed out the hazard/blinker module just for the heck of it.

I checked all the lights around the outside of the truck an they come on with the hazards and the headlights. So none appear to be burnt out at this time.

UPDATE 10/28/13: I found both fuses for the Hazard/Brake and Turn Signal to both be blown out. My problem now is that the Hazard/Brake keeps burning out the fuse still. I've replaced the fuse at least four times and the Turn Signal fuse 2 times. What could make them both blow fuses at different times and the Brake Lights more times than the Turn Signals?

They don't blow out till after I'm driving down the road so it's not an instant blow out the second I use the Hazard/Brake lights or Turn Signal lights. What could make it blow later in the road trip????

Also this just started happening out of the blue! Nothing else with the truck is having issues that I know of.

I did a full walk around the truck an all light seem the same brightness and blink the same as all others also.

Anyone? Still burning the fuses. Can't drive truck as brake lights go out an I'm afraid I'll get re-ended.

BUMP

Going to be utterly guessing, but if it isn't every time you apply the lights, I'd be looking for frayed wiring somewhere.

You can disconnect the rear lights very easily at the rear end (4 way weatherpacks) that would eliminate the rear lighting harness if it still blows after disconnecting. Not sure if you can test drive it like that where you are, but sounds like the only way (at this point) that you will be able to narrow it down. Intermittent electrical stuff can be annoying.

Another thought is that your column wiring may be getting pinched, since you had a turn signal issue before, and now you have a hazard/brake issue, and the hazard switch is also on the column....
