brake help!

im looking at buying a new master cylinder for my k10, but instead of replacing it with a 1/2 ton unit i plan on going to a 1 ton unit since i already have 1 ton axles. the parts store asked me if i have jb7 or jb8 brakes... whats the difference? heres the link, http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductList.aspx?PartType=230&PTSet=A&SearchFor=Master Cylinder

jb7 is just for less GVWR

jb7 is 3/4 ton and jb8 is for 1 tons

but i think 1 tons only came with hydroboost, so ull have to go with the 3/4 ton booster/master cylinder...but i could be wrong, some 1 tons might have vaccum boosters...anyone know?

i think your right about all 1 tons coming with hydroboost. i'll have to run a 1 ton master cylinder w/ a 3/4 ton power booster. btw i love this (Lift Your Truck...Fat Chicks Cant Jump)

ttt. can i use a jb8 master with a power booster or do i have to use hyrdoboost?
