brake hose question

i will be replacing brake lines on my truck this weekend and found some extended brake hoses on ebay (thanks to ck5) and thought i would go ahead and do that too. i want the ones that are 9inches longer than stock but the only ones i can find are for an 87-91 blazer or suburban. would these fit my 84 1/2ton pickup?

Yes they should fit but where it attaches to the frame is different. The 87-91's use a clip to hold the line to the frame, and the 79-86 uses a nut. You could probably make it work just by getting some clips instead.

where might i find some clips and is it very hard to install them?
