brake hoses

Putting in a 6" lift in my 81 half ton and need to change the front brake lines. Just wondering what is better, longer hosses? or use factory lines and drop the brackets? I ran across on here the other day but do you think I could find it again, something about 2001 chev3/4 or 1 ton front hoses being longer and working because they have the same ends or something like that???Any ideas?? Thanks for any ideas!!!

Longer hoses and always buy longer hoses than you think you need. Better to have extra hose zip tied out of the way than not enough hose.

those bolt up and reach for a 6inch lift? good to know.
