dana 60 front axel disc / 14 bolt rear disc . I’ve changed the proportion valve to disc disc . Also changed master to disc disc . I bleed the master bleed the system pedal feels good . When I fire the truck up no pedal this has got me stumped maybe I have the wrong bore size master help thanks ?

You said the master is a disk/disk set up but what is it out of?.

When I did the swap, I got a master/booster from a k30 with a 5.7 (350) and swapped that in. I think it helped but not sure how different it is from the master/booster that was in my k5 altrady.

How are you bleeding the brakes? Sounds like they are not bled.

^^^ This

When you bleed the discs in the rear are you sure the bleeder valves are pointed upwards? If not you may need to remove them and bleed them with the valves in the correct direction.

And FYI you can mount the Dana 60 calipers on either side so the bleeder valve is on the bottom instead of on top like they should be.....

I bench bleed the mater positive about that pedal feels great until I start the truck then nothing .

I’m not so sure the direction matters

Yep, bleeders on rear need to point up - you get air bubbles trapped at the high point.

Edit: ^^ a little quicker with the post button. :doah:

Ok I’ll swap them then thanks what about bore size ?

Flipped the calipers Peale got way better but still have no pedal once vaccume happens ? does anyone know if the bore size of the master matters ?

How are you bleeding the brakes? Two people? Or a pressure tank? or vac at bleeders? Starting at right/passenger rear, then left, right front, then left? Doing all four is a must when chasing air/soft pedal, I think.

Yeah I’ve done it all vacuum, pressure bench bled the master what I’ve come to is everything is bled works well as soon as I turn on the vehicle and vaccume is applied I have no pedal . I read that if your bore is small higher pressure is created my stock size from what I can tell is about 1 1/2 inches what I purchased from SummitRacing is 1 1/8 bore . It also said that if power assist is applied and the pedal goes away the bore is too small that’s why I asked about master bore size but no feed back there I’m gonna give wilwood a call Monday .
