Brake issues with the k30, no problem just broken parts

I was farting around in the yard and I was up on a log and got stuck and I stepped on the brakes hard and lost my peddle, I blead the brake front and rear when I changed it my front calipers, do I need to bleed it more? 84 k30 with a ls swap stock hydro boost brakes.

Upon further review via instant replay I blew a front brake line.

That’s a bummer. At least you weren’t getting off the freeway or something. It had to have been damaged at that location somehow.

I think it was rubbing on the shock for along time, I ordered new lines they will be here Monday.

I use one of the mini bungee cords around my lines back to the frame. Has worked well for me.

Thanks, it just needs a few things and it should be on the road.

Just pulled the passenger and it was about to go also.

Before you removed the passenger side did you look to see what it was rubbing against? If it was the shock I would think you’d see bare metal where the frayed stainless steel strands wore the paint off. And why is the driver’s side line worn in two spots 90* from each other?

That kind of wear makes you think the tire rubs it.
