i have a 1990 gmc jimmy about three months ago the break light came on and it wont go off. I have checked the fluid. the wierd thing about it is that it flashes 10 times and then pauses for a second then flashes 10 times, like it's trying to spit out a code but everyone i talk to says they don't know what it means. any ideas would be greatly apreciated.

1990-91 R/V trucks have rear-wheel only ABS, which only works in 2WD.

That is indeed a code, though what, I can't tell you.

I had a Burb that kept throwing a code 81 or something, meaning the wiring or the solenoid for the ABS was flaking out. I ended up pulling the power to the ABS computer and taping it up... problem solved. Truck stops just fine; RWAL is very silly, IMHO.

Look under your master and booster for a black box that doesn't belong :haha:
