1970 jimmy all drum 4x4.
ok, I posted this on my original brake line diagram thread. Got the lines all properly ran where they are supposed to go.
Problem I ran into, the extended new lines that came with my jimmy are a much smaller thread than the way the old lines hooked up.
Old lines used a 7/16 thread, new lines are like 1/8 or something. I think. Much smaller anyways.
The old lines connected here thru this piece (don't know what you call it) using a short banjo bolt which threaded thru to the top of the original brake hose.
I had to mcguyver a setup to get everything connected. (2nd photo)
When I search for extended lines I can't seem to find them for a 70. One site even said only 71 and up.
Has anyone ran into this problem and or do you have any advice? I dont really like my mcguyvered setup
