Does a 1997 C2500 use the Parking brake indicator as its warning light? The rear brake line on my 1997 C2500 is rusted out. Is this a common thing? I put the engine from my S10 in the bed of it, pulled it away to park, hit the brakes, and it went low and soft. I noticed the Parking brake light was on then. Parked it, looked underneath and found a puddle of brake fluid and a spray all under the bed. Bitch of it is, the coupling for it is between the gas tank and the frame, so I may have to drop it to change the line.

i change them all the time. just flare a nut on before the tank and be done with it easer. just one of the many buggs thay all have. and yes to the light.
