I want to replace my 25 year old brake lines with some ORD lines or other high quality braided lines.

I am unsure what height lift I will eventually get. If I go with lines built for a 4" lift will they be too long and get tangled with anything if I run my stock suspension?

If you're careful routing them, you should be fine. If you're at stock height now, loop the front line, say, into a circle (prolly be like 4-6" in diameter, whatever the line allows you to do) and then ziptie it.

I seem to recall the braided lines I got from ORD came with zipties and stuff to mount the lines to the shock, which would keep them out of harm's way.

I wouldn't loop them for fear of bleeding issues.

The longer brake lines will work fine, you'll just have to tie them down. As mentioned, a zip tie on the shock works fine.

Huh. Didn't think of that. Okay to loop 'em once they're bled, though, I s'pose?
