hey guys got a quick question here on brake lines and how they can be split or put together
I just helped a buddy do some work on his toyota. One of the things we did was swap his small factory rear axle with drums for a 8.6" gm with an auburn locker, 4.88s and disc brakes. Part of doing this swap over was the brake system. The toyota had independently run brake lines to each wheel whereas you know, the gm axle has one line running to it and splits at the axle. The toyota of course had wheel speed sensors on it but we will no longer be using these and will have them written out.
my question is...
Can i put a 'T' in there, connecting the two brake lines coming off the chasis to bring them to one line out to go to the axle? or would this create too much brake pressure on the rear and lock them up every time??
I know this is a blazer forum and I use it for 76 but I dont have any toyotas and dont feel like making an account for one measly question
Thanks All!!!
