I was hooking up my brake pedal this morning and noticed the shaft from the booster isn't lining up with the pedal right. In these pics you can see the shaft is pointing down, doesn't look right....

If the shaft connected to the pedal an inch higher it would line up "correctly".

This cab is a diesel so I'm wondering if this is non hydro boost pedal and I should be using a hydro boost pedal? Or maybe I'm worrying for no reason?

so what exactly are you running ?

vac or hydro boost .

and measure your pivot pin to brake bar distance . this will help pin point your possible problem.

Vacuum.

I was trying to measure but it looks like I need to pull the pedal out to do so.

So it's a vacuum pedal.

Is the bracket that holds the pedal for a hydro setup? Not sure what else would cause this to be off unless it's normal?

a few different sources have mentioned the brackets are in fact different between the hydroboost and vacuum brakes. Therefore I think with the correct bracket I should be back in business.

since its out you could always just drill a new hole in the right spot and move the pin up
