Brake Pedal Rod Codes

I'm about to change out my M/C and Booster to catch up with my 1 ton axles (4 Disc) on my 84' K5. I keep seeing boosters specify Pedal Rod Code C8, C10, C14, C17. After searching the net and CK5 I can't find anything on these codes. Can anyone shed some light on what they mean, and how specific I have to be when I get my booster?

I'm running 1 ton axles with disc all around and still have the stock master/booster and stock proportioning valve with NO ISSUES.
