Im having a strange brake problem with my 91. Its a 14 bolt, disc conversion from DIY Stock master cylinder with no prop valve or anything and it works great. Well till now. The brake light came on and stayed on, and the left rear caliper hung up. Luckily i was 1/4 mile from home and it only got Real hot. Not Reallly hot. I have about 700 miles on it or so and like i said it worked great, good pedal proper lockup ABS is disconnected.
Do you think the master cylinder just blew a seal that would account for the light, ill have to tear the caliper apart and see what happened there. Anyone have a problem with old Master cylinders blowing seals with disc convesions.
I havent searched yet but is there an even better caliper. Im liking the way mine braked so i believe i will keep it stsock unless 4 discs is ruining the stock MC. Thanks
