OK I have a guy at work that has an 85 chevy 4x4 pickup. He just replaced the proportioning valve on it and bleed the brakes starting farthest to closes. Now his Brake light wound go off. Any Ideas?

I just replaced my combo valve and here is the order I used to bleed everything:
1 bench bleed the MC (you can do this while it is in the truck too)
2 bleed the proportioning valve (actually it's a combination valve becaise it's 3 valves in one) by cracking open all three outlet fittings one at a time.
3 bleed rear brakes
4 bleed front brakes
1 bench bleed the MC (you can do this while it is in the truck too)

A good stomp on the brake pedal would normally centre it again assuming you've bled them ok.
