I have an 83 diesel blazer. Swapping a 14 bolt and Dana 60 in right now. I'm about to work on the brake system. I know I will need a proportioning valve to get more pressure to the rear brakes since I have done the disc brake conversion on the 14 bolt. Will I need a larger reservoir for the rear brakes. The reservoir for the rear brakes is significantly smaller than the front brake reservoir. Will I need more fluid for this conversion or will the proportioning valve be sufficient to keep the fluid level high even in hard braking situations?

By the looks of it, the K30 master cylinder is almost identical to my diesel blazer's master cylinder. Is there a difference that you know of? Mine came stock with hydroboost. Looks like all I may need is that valve? Unless the reservoirs are bigger?Thank for the help!!!

From what I can find online it looks like the disc/disc mc has a larger reservoir for the rear breaks. Thanks again.

I had tons of brakes with the drum/disk k30 master and the bias adjuster .

85 k5 blazer 1.18" bore
85 k30 p-up 1.312" bore
these were both 6.2 option trucks with hydroboost I used for reference .

rockauto.com has good prices and TONS of specs if you click the info button on each part listed .
