I am going to order up new rotors for the Burb from NAPA. I was looking on their site, and I have two choices. $42 rotors and $69 rotors. The $69 rotors are "Noise Dampened Iron". What does that mean?

An extra $27.00. I have never heard of such a thing and highly doubt there is a difference worth noticing.

how much do you drive it. I bought a cheap set of rear pads for my DD instead of GM ones and will never do it again. I only got pads and none of the shims or clips. I reused the old stuff and before long noises started. I have since tuned them out but people ask me all the time wht is that chirping noise. or someone at a traffic light will tell me I need brakes. You could always buy one of each type of rotor and see if there is a difference. only problem with that is if there is then you will probably want to go buy another expensive one. if there is not any difference you will be mad you bought the expensive one.

Buy the cheap ones and run boggers. that should cover up any noise.:haha:
