I just picked up a Dana 60 today that I will be going through, the brake shields are bent to hell, do most people even use them or should I get new ones?

I'd just go without them. Heck, there was even some mid-70s Dana 44s that didn't have them from the factory. If you just gotta have em, maybe Boyce could hook you up.

I am curious about this also. I would replace them just for the protection of the rotor from flying rocks.. I have a similar question for the TSM 14 bolt brake kit. The wheel seals are exposed and could be damaged by mud or weeds. I would like to find some shields for the rear because there is more of a chance of damaging the rotor as well from flying debris from the front tires.....

All brake shields do, in my opinion, is try to trap mud and stuff between the shield and the rotor.
I'd run without them and not worry about it.
What did you pay for the dana 60?

I took them off my Fourtrax for the reasons listed above. Yes I know a fourtrax isn't a Blazer, but the point still remains.
