I've got a '72 K5 with 35x12.50s. The brakes are just not good enough. What ideas does anybody have to make them better?

3/4 ton upgrade.
I put a hydro-boost kit on my '70 from Vanco years ago. The mounting plate that he had back in the mid 2000s wasn't right to mount to the firewall, but I had a new one made. I have Eldorado rear calipers and factory front calipers. It stops ok, not great. I don't have to worry about locking up brakes, but it has more pedal pressure than I would prefer.

3/4 ton upgrade was done on my 72 K5 by the previous owner. Very good for probably not much money
