just finished my 8 lug conversion in the front and i went to drive it and the front is locked up!, jacked it up and tried to move the wheels, it aint moving. i bled them and everyrthing and they still dont work, what did i do wrong and what can i do to fix it?

Did you overtighten the locking hub rings? if that makes sense...the round tools with the square thingys. haha

i just went through this on the burbon i replaces all the stock rubber brake lines with steel braided for cost and length. cured the problem..
if i applied the brakes they woudl stay locked let it sit for a while or over night it would roll fine apply brakes and they would lock on again.brake pedal would return uo also but brakes where locked

Could your wheels be rubbing the caliper? Have you taken a wheel off and tried to spin the rotor???[/quote
dammit yes they are! but the caliper is good its the ****ing backing plate

yea, im ****in pissed at my self, i didnt think of grinding the plates before i put them on so when i ground down my calipers on the bench grinder at work(which by the way was an industrial one and the ****ers were down in no time) i didnt have them , and i dont have a handheld so when i got everything on they didnt like id have a problem, when i look at the rims it was a very miniscule part they were touching, it doesnt seem like theyd prevent the whole truck from moving but i guess i was wrong.
