Hydraulic steering assist cap for your fullsize GM 73-87.

6061 aluminum, CNC turned. 3/8" NPT threads single point cut. Precision fit! Comes with a spanner wrench to help you complete the installation.

Cap diameter is 3.47". You can use this dimension to verify compatability.

Pressure provided to this port when turning the steering wheel to the right.

For hydraulic pressure when turning left you'll need to tap the top aluminum cap. Alternately you can send it to us and we'll tap it for you.

Kit contents, 1 Cap and 1 spanner wrench. $30.00

Yep, cap is held in by a snap ring, the spanner wrench is to prevent the cap from turning while you tighten your line fitting.

A person could always install the fitting before installing the cap. However, a trail repair of having to remove a broken fitting without having to remove the cap would make the use of the wrench very handy.
