let me check my cash situation..i'd like to have these....but will these fit my stock 3:73 carrier? theres sumthing about thick gears or so?? or would i need a spacer for these to fit?
They will not fit a 3.73 carrier and a ring gear spacer is not recommended.
Going to have to disagree with you here Scott. I have done several gear sets using spacers. High HP big tired rigs too. Never had an issue. Did one on a rear 60 on a truck that see alot of towing at 10k plus. No issues to date both of those were at least 5 years ago. Only reason I mention those two is I still have contact with them both and know for a fact they have never had ring and pinion problems.
I recommend to everyone to get a new carrier, but will tell them there is a high likelihood that all will be fine with a spacer.
