brand wire used for sheet metal mig

That size wire I just get a 10# spool of Horbart HB-28. They spec it as .024. I'm not sure where it's made but I recommend staying away from the Chinese crap wire. I've bought the Chinese wire in .035.......never again!

yup, i usually just pick up a spool of Lincoln Arc-50 at homo depot..

I strongly recommend NEVER buying harbor freight china junk.... quality control sucks on the cheap stuff....

I found some easy grind esab in 023 that I'm going to pick up. Anyone used this before?

Ooh, didja really? I remember hearing about this, but I've never seen it ... the welding store said it'd been discontinued...

esab still shows it on there website. i think it is just hard to find. the welding stores need to buy a large lot. I called around untill I found some. It is not cheap.
