Bringing a 73 back to life. Gas in the oil?

why does everyone else end up with the color I want and they want to change it?
:doah::doah::doah:

Little story.....

My wife's mom passed when she was 16. Well her mom had a 76 blazer in blue and she has some amazing memories of riding around in said 76. Well I came across this one from a buddy and it's a 73, which just happens to be my bride's birth year so I thought I would try to give her back a few memories of her mom. In fact the rig will carry her mom's nick name when I start the build thread.

She knows we own it and I am building it but doesn't exactly know the intentions of it yet. It will probably never leave the family.

got any saddle tan goodies in there you waIdaho ranch to part with?

want to get rid of that hood....

No saddle tan stuff. The rig spent the better part of 40 years as an Idaho ranch rig and as far as I can tell the last half running fence doing repairs. Mostly a complete gut on the interior, but I do have an actual bucket of fence staples I'll send ya. Tomorrow night is clean out the interior crap and then disassemble. It did how ever come with a 6 point rollcage. I think is a smitty built, about the only thing I will save.

You leave my hood alone.
