Who does it?

I have slugs and inner gears from D60's I want to get done to 35 spline.

So, spill the beans, who does it?

Call around to your local machine shops and ask them, and even if they can't do it they may know who can. However, just be aware that you may be able to buy new 35-spline slugs or gears for the cost of having 30-spline stuff broached.

Yes but some of use don't want slugs due to still driving our rig on the street. As for hubs yes you can get a 35 spline set, but are they going to be just as strong as the spicer hubs. No! I hated my warn hubs I had on my dana 44, seems like I had to warranty them out every 2-3 wheeling trips due to them stripping out or exploding. I have yet to see or hear of anyone that has destroyed a set of stock spicer hubs. Even when broached to 35 spline they are stronger.

I agree with the above about the Spicer locking hubs, but the OP specifically stated slugs and that was the basis of my answer.

However I don't agree that locking hubs are mandatory to drive a rig on the street, with the exception being a front spool.

Agreed. I've driven my rig on the street many times with a front detroit and drive flanges, I've never noticed the detroit was ever there.

But, if you want to broach the Spicer hubs to 35 spline I know that Scott (mrk5) did that and has been running them without issue. Search his username or shoot him a PM.

My reason for not being able to drive mine on the street with slugs is because I have a 42 degree c/v front shaft from High Angle. At speeds above 30 mph the vibrates pretty good. So I will need hubs.
