broke tail cone off 241 case...is it destroyed?? or salvageable??/

well, when i bought my jimmy the slip yoke part of the transfer case had broken the tail cone off of the 241 case. i got a new one, but the slip yoke wouldn't go into the back of the case, like the splines had twisted/bent. not sure if it did any internal damage to the case at all. do you think this case would be ok to add a sye too??? or should i scrap it and get a new case???? anybody broke this before???

SYE gets rid of the old output and cone. I waould say go for it. Or, if you need a new slip style output, I think I have one at home. I would have to have my wife check to see if I still have it or not. I'll let it go for $10 and shipping if it is still in my shop and you want it.
